6 months interim to permanent position

Working for an international company that deal with all nationwide payrolls you will be responsible for managing the payroll process for a high volume and varied number or staff.

The role is ideal for a Payroll Administrator with excellent Excel, mathematical and analysis skills that is looking for a step up in their payroll career.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Processing weekly and monthly payrolls to a high volume and varied number of employees
* Receive all payroll information directly from site, over the phone, email and upload to the payroll system
* Ensure ongoing compliance with pension auto-enrolment obligations across the business
* Ensuring all data in the payroll system is secure, backed up and fully compliant with updates and legislations
* Processing statutory deductions including SMP, SPP, SSP and SAP
* Amending changes to Tax Codes
* Process salary advances including commission payments, bonuses, expenses and adjustments to pay rates
* Responsible for processing BACS payments

Skills Required:

* Previous experience processing high volume and complex payrolls, ideally within a large organisation
* Ability to be proactive in improving processes and putting forward new ideas to senior management
* Keep up to day with new payroll legislations and best practice methodology, in particular changes highlighted by the HMRC
* Extensive knowledge of end to end payroll and the ability to manually calculate
* Experienced in using various payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
