The role:

The Brand Marketing Manager will support the Head of Portfolio in steering the Portfolio and Brand Strategy across Europe, and in addition will work closely with other regions and Global Head Office. The successful candidate will support the implementation of the Brand Initiative drumbeat within the Business Planning horizon, tracking performance against set targets. You'll be a well rounded Marketer with specific experience in Consumer and Trade Marketing and strong commercial acumen.

Key accountabilities:

• Coordinating Portfolio & Brand Planning input during Business and Operational Planning cycles
• Deployment of Portfolio Classification based on Portfolio Strategy frameworks
• Steering and managing the sign-off process for operational brand plans based on brand classification and tracking new initiative planning
• Preparing Business Cases to be presented for investments requiring approval
• Working closely with Manufacturing & Supply Chain regarding supply/demand and prioritising market plans as required
• Managing projects related to Product Cost and Complexity Reductions (PCCR)
• Validation of product cost saving initiatives which are identified and proposed by MSC
• Ensuring Brand Standards are adhered to and renewed when needed
• Identifying and managing the preparation of migration business cases for sign-off, monitoring the subsequent implementation and successful completion
• Sharing of best practice, knowledge and learning across Divisions, Clusters and Business Units to drive executional excellence
• Providing input, analysis, reports and case studies for key governance forums

Skills & experience:

• University degree (or equivalent) with min 3-5 years in Consumer & Trade Marketing
• Understanding of the brand planning process from consumer insight to market execution, and experience of measuring brand performance and brand health through a set of appropriate KPIs
• Financial acumen, excellent analytical skills and numerically sound with the ability to think strategically and link information in a broader context
• Strong Project Management skills, good problem solver, ability to manage a broad range of projects in parallel
• Ability to challenge and influence relevant stakeholders within the organisation
• Strong collaboration, commercial astuteness and sufficient gravitas to build key relationships internally
• Creative / innovative individual with a significant passion and drive for what they do, as well as the ability to work proactively and autonomously against tight deadlines
• Fluent English (other languages would be beneficial)

• Trade Marketing & Sales Experience to understand the execution in markets.
• Expertise in operating in bright as well as dark markets; working in sophisticated and less mature markets.
