Are you a Geography Graduate who is looking to secure a Graduate Teaching role for September 2019?

Our partner school are looking to appoint a Geography Teaching Assistant to join their Humanities department on a full-time basis as of September 2019.

>A 2:2 or above in your relevant Geography degree

The role of a Geography Teaching Assistant:
As a Geography Teaching Assistant, you will be utilising your knowledge to its full potential whilst gaining vital classroom experience before submitting your application for Teacher Training in September 2020.

You will find yourself working alongside a fantastic network of experienced teachers as your shadow and observe their lessons in the first instance. As you settle into the Geography Teaching Assistant role you will build upon your classroom presence and behavioural management. Taking mixed ability students out on 1:1 and small group intervention sessions with your own pre-planned activities to engage and stimulate the students across KS3-KS4.

About the school:
Located in Braintree, this 'Good' school can offer an abundance of support through their regular CPD training led by a strong SLT. The Successful Geography Teaching Assistant will also be assigned their own mentor and have the guidance of the experienced teachers within the Humanities department.
