Stephenson College is a highly successful FE college based in North West Leicestershire and is an innovative and highly responsive centre for education and training, graded Good by Ofsted.
Stephenson College, working in partnership with the Volvo Group, is looking to recruit to this exciting new opportunity that has arisen to join their established technical delivery team responsible for apprenticeship provision at our North-West Leicestershire campus.
Renowned for excellence and innovation, the Volvo apprenticeship training programme has trained and qualified hundreds of technicians who now work at various levels within Volvo. We are considered one of the best designed and up to date technician programmes in the country with fantastic facilities, industry standard workshops, excellent success rates and friendly and approachable staff.
The programme has a proven track record for the transition between industry technician to programme lecturer, who have been attracted by the work life balance, campus environment, teachers' pension scheme and holiday allowance.
As an ambassador for the company brand, you will deliver excellence and innovation in learning to industry standards, incorporating up-to-date methods and practices identical to those used in modern dealerships. The successful candidates will be employed by the college and jointly trained with Volvo to meet and maintain the desired level of high competence in technical training delivery.
If you think you have the technical competence and experience to achieve this with high level electrical, diagnostic and general computer skills, and have recent experience within a dealership or related role, we would like to hear from you.
To apply for this position, please complete a standard application form. Application forms and further details are available online from the College website.
Should you wish to have an informal conversation about the apprenticeship programme or Volvo, please contact Adam Plastow.
Should you wish to have an informal chat about the role, the working environment and progression opportunities, or if you would like to visit the College, please contact Mark Walker.
