To help us on our journey, we are looking for highly motivated Consultants in Anaesthetics to join our current team. The jobs are full time posts comprising 10 Programmed Activities (PA'S). It is essential that you hold an MBBS or equivalent certificate. You must also have full GMC registration, a licence to practice and either currently included on the Specialist Register or within 6 months of this at the time of appointment.

Candidates who wish to work a different number of programmed activities to that specified in the current job plan will be considered for this post, with negotiation on the content of the job plan on an individual basis. Candidates who wish to apply as part of a job share arrangement will also be considered.

The post-holders will comply with the recommendations of the Royal College of Anaesthetists with respect to continuing medical education and professional development. The post-holder will promote and comply with the recommendations contained in "Good Practice; a guide for Departments of Anaesthesia" published by the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the Association of Anaesthetists.
