Role
  • Enter supplier invoices accurately on their bespoke system
  • Ensure the AP ledger in maintained and reconciled accurately
  • Send invoices to manager or department head for approval
  • Supplier payment completed in an accurate and timely manner taking advantage of agreed payment terms
  • Ensure staff expenses are reviewed, approved and entered correctly on the system
  • Assist with month end close and annual audit
  • Evaluate performance and make suggestions to cut costs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Find ways to improve payment systems
  • Other ad hoc tasks

Profile

Immediately available Purchase Ledger Clerk needed for an on-going contract based in Stockport within the Oil and Gas industry.

Experience working in a similar role is a must, high volume and SAP experience would be desirable.
