Product Development Manager (E-commerce / Hosting) - £65,000 - £75,000 plus stock plus bonus 10%

Our Client powers the world's largest cloud platform and has been a disruptive and positive force enabling small, independent online businesses to exploit new online opportunities. Managing website domains for 17 million customers worldwide, this organisation operates globally and is now making a huge investment in establishing their EMEA facility in the UK.

Innovation has been the secret to their meteoric rise and their range of products and brands have changed the online landscape for the better, forever. As they look to the future and in particular new markets in EMEA, there is a requirement to hire Product Managers. Individuals capable of identifying new functionality, ideas and innovations that will radically improve and enhance the customer experience and drive sales growth in new markets.

Alongside growth and investment comes a major product integration and brand harmonisation programme. This will involve the development of new ecommerce/web platforms, and services. The vision will be to build on what has already become the world's largest hosting / domain marketplace where all brands, customers and markets will live, trade, exist and interact.

The role

Working within a cross-functional team, you will be the centre point for the Product Development. You will build, own, define and deliver all key components for their next-generation eCommerce platform. You will engage with and influence key stakeholders and business leaders at every level of the organisation to deliver awesome products.

The Candidate - You will be used to the pressures of working in a high profile Product Development / Management position. You will have a blend of technical knowledge and awareness having worked in Software Development / Product Development but will also possess a commercial appreciation and understanding of the opportunities and impacts on specific verticals and markets. You will be able to offer examples of Software Product Development projects ideally within ecommerce technologies / platforms.

Experience of creating product roadmaps and vision at the front end of the process is essential, as is the experience of the delivery of new products to market via product launches.

For this position we can consider people working in pure Product Management positions, Senior Developers / Leaders or Architects who are making the transition in to Product Development, Programme or Project Managers who have influenced the direction of Products and Product Development or indeed commercial Product Managers, who are more focused on the commercial and functional opportunities than the technology that underpins them.

Our Client has an incredible culture, they communicate brilliantly with their people, which means their employees are engaged, enthusiastic and driven to work towards a common outcome. The work environment and conditions are excellent and as a world leader in technology and cloud they are utlising the very latest technologies emerging from countries, markets and sectors that will ensure that they can build on developing future proof products.

Work locations can be Woking, Hays or Central London.
