We now require a Technical Support Engineer - Field Service applications engineer to join the applications team for this globally known brand that manufacture bespoke products that aid production and manufacturing solutions across the world.

The basics:

Office Location: Hayes

Role: Permanent

Job Title: Technical Support Engineer - Applications

Hours: Monday - Friday

Basic salary: £28,000-£30,000 DOE

Work environment: 70% of the role will be office based, however you will be working for the customer - so site visits to manufacturing companies across the UK

Travel: Approx. twice per month stop over all expenses paid.

Service area: UK

Training - full product training provided 6-8 weeks training programme

Benefits: 28 days rising to 33 days. Quarterly company profit related bonus, company group pension, full expenses paid - travel and accommodation when required, lap top, mobile phone, gym membership, training programme. Hire car for all customer visits provided.

The role in brief:

You will be tasked to provide technical product support to customers - this may be onsite within various manufacturing companies OR working office based answering technical support queries whilst working on projects for the customer.

Essentially you will be a problem solver, speaking and working directly with the customer to provide technical support and solutions for the products that we manufacture.

The ideal applicant will have as many of the following to strengthen application:

- Degree educated in a technical or engineering discipline

- Presentable and confident working in a customer facing role

- Full UK Driving license

- Computer literate - MS Word, Excel
