We are looking for Software Tester with excellent technical skills and proven track record. The ideal candidate will have web, product and application Test Driven Development (TTD) experience and have delivered at least 3 full project life cycles as a developer.

The idle candidate would have worked in Agile Environment with domain knowledge in e-commerce, web, retail and travel industries. The role demands frequent client interactions and coordination with Business Analyst and conduct workshops to gather requirements, hence you are required to demonstrate experience in client facing skills and assisting BA's in BRD's. The role may also require frequent interactions with our off-shore development team, hence any additional language speaking skills like Hindi are advantageous however not mandatory. You should also be willing to travel from time to time to participate in client meetings.

Technical skills required

·Should have at least 4 years of experience as Automation Tester and Manual Tester

·Extensively worked in TDD/BDD and Selenium Web driver.

·Automation Testing using JUnit, Cucumber, Gherkin ad continuous integration using Jenkins.

·At least 3 years' experience in Agile Scrum methodology.

·Demonstrable experience in Coding languages such as Java

·Strong experience in back end testing using MS SQL, MySQL and experience in testing store procedures.

·At least 2.5 years of experience in API testing using SoapUI.

·Should have extensively used JIRA in at least last two projects for project planning and tracking.

·Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks {{such as Code igniter, Laravel, Yii, etc depending on your technology stack}}

·Understanding of MVC design patterns

·Experience in CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript/Jquery Angular.JS, json, Node JS, Web services (SOAP, RESTFULL) etc.

·Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming

·Understanding accessibility and security compliance {{Depending on the specific project}}

·Strong knowledge of the common/core PHP

·Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system

·Familiarity with MySQL 5.0 databases

·Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.

·Experience in responsive web design experience

·Experience in testing cross-browser-compatible web applications in HTML, CSS.

·Analyse & translate functional specifications & change requests into technical specifications.

·Develop, test & implement program logic.

·Experience working with best-in-class UI frameworks/libraries such as Bootstrap etc.

·Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, osCommerce, etc

·Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay, Amazon etc.)

·Should have implemented at least 3 full lifecycles in web and e-commerce

Education & Certifications

·Bachelor's degree or equivalent

·Additional certification in this field is advantageous but not essential
