An opportunity has arisen to take on a challenging senior role within a unique and leading Church based Educational Trust. This exciting opportunity has become available, due to the promotion of the current postholder, as they enter a further exciting phase of growth. Established in 2013, they have grown to include 30 academies. With offices based in Northampton, their academies are spread across the Peterborough Diocese in Northamptonshire and Rutland. Their vision is that, by working together for each child in our academies, we can help each individual to realise a God-given potential to flourish.

Their mission is to ensure that our academies serve their local communities by being inclusive, welcoming children of the Christian Faith, of other faiths or of no faith and by welcoming children from all backgrounds and abilities. We believe that children deserve the very best education, and that our staff deserve support to deliver this.

Their purpose is to ensure that all of their academies deliver outstanding education, within a distinctively Christian ethos, leading to high achievement and excellent progress for all pupils. In order to do this, they work hard to enable their academies to work together, supporting each other in both spontaneous and structured ways. They have achieved a positive reputation for the quality and cost-effectiveness of the support they offer their academies.

They are looking to appoint a hardworking, dynamic individual with exceptional leadership skills, who naturally inspires others. As an active member of the Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will provide strategic financial and business planning leadership, working in partnership with other Senior Leaders. In addition, the Finance and Business Operations Director will provide strategic and operational leadership to the central finance and business team along with colleagues in our academies. The role is pivotal in ensuring that their academies have services that truly support outstanding educational provision for all of their pupils.

They are seeking to appoint a hardworking, qualified accountant with exceptional leadership skills who can inspire and manage others. The successful candidate will have a key focus on the financial and business management across the Trust. As this is a leadership role in the Trust, the successful candidate will be an active member of the Senior Leadership Team, providing strategic and operational leadership.

Are you someone who can lead and develop the financial and business management of the Trust? Do you have the ability to lead and develop teams and manage projects to fruition? Have you experience of financial planning and the ability to secure effective services? Do you wish to develop and grow your knowledge, skills, abilities and attributes further?

If so, I urge you to contact us asap, so we can send you more information regarding this very exciting and challenging opportunity. Closing date for applications to the Trust themselves is 12:00hrs on 27th June 2019, and interviewing to take place on Monday 8th July 2019
