Our client, an elite company based in Christchurch, are currently seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join their successful company. The Bid Writer will perform an integral role to the business' acquisition and retention agenda. The Bid Writer should deliver a best in class Bid function to better articulate the value proposition of our services in relation to the needs of our clients and prospect opportunities. The Bid Writer should develop, manage and audit the Bid Library, ensuring the overall quality of the documents - updated information, templates, pictures, case studies and all other relevant documentation that supports the Bid process.

Your duties will include:

* Manage the end to end Bid process, leveraging project management skills to facilitate and coordinate meetings, stakeholder/ internal workshops to develop a key win strategy aligned with core business offering, development of a storyline and Insights document that address the needs and messaging of prospecting and existing client Bids reflecting the companies' capabilities whilst exposing competitor weakness.

* Develop and management of a Bid and Proposal library.

* To partner with sales teams to deliver an on-time Bid, with particular focus on strategy, high-value and multi service offering.

* Lead the internal sign off process (preparation of a management summary).

* Design a Bid process that addresses the execution of work activities.

* Managing internal stakeholders.

* Work closely with the core team and involve subject matter experts when required.

* Provide insight in to market trends that is gained through direct exposure to critical feedback from failed bids and evolving need of the clients that is reflected in tender specification.

* Interpret client requirements and support the company to deliver against complex client requirements.

* Co-ordinate post-bid review meetings.

Experience required:

* Experience of operating in a consultancy business services environment.

* Coaching and research experience.

* Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining executive-level relationships.

* Flexibility in approach.

* Strong communication, organisation and presentation skills and the ability to work autonomously.

* A self-starter motivated by the opportunity to deliver client solutions.

* A strategic thinker; able to conceive and execute compelling Bids.

* Proven capability in delivering winning complex Bids.

* Experienced Bid campaign management.

* Contributor to solution design.

* Delivery to restrictive timeline/deadlines.

* Excellent Communicator (oral and written).

* Self-motivated.

* Entrepreneurial approach.

* Highly motivated.

* Customer focused.
