Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Mechanical Engineer to add to their talented, hardworking team in Barrow on a 12-month contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same. This role will be offering £50.00 per hour.

The Role

Within the role of Mechanical Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

* Ensuring developed solutions are clearly defined, integrated, configured, controlled and delivered.

* Performing appropriate engineering planning, management and review activities to ensure products are integrated.

* Assuring the maturity of the developed solutions is appropriate for the specific requirement and that all technical risks and opportunities are captured.

In addition, you'll also review the processes and procedures within the span of control to reduce waste, improve efficiency and establish a dynamic and flexible best in class capability.


To succeed within the role of Mechanical Engineer, you'll ideally be a recognised Chartered Engineer with experience in a similar position, and the following skills:

* Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

* Experience in the design, design management and construction of major construction facilities and infrastructure.

* An understanding of how sub function engineering is organised and structured will be beneficial.
