Our exclusive client have partnered with RK on their search for a technically strong Financial Accountant. The business are a sizeable division of a large and successful Group who are regarded as market leaders in their field. This is a newly created role, due to growth, and it takes ownership of the financial accounting and statutory reporting for the business.

Your role in your new job

Managing 1 Assistant Accountant, you will report to the Head of Finance and be responsible for the preparation of Group consolidated and subsidiary management information including KPI's for reporting to Senior Management. You will prepare consolidated group, parent and subsidiary financial statements for external audit and work closely with the Head of Finance to support with budgets and forecasts for reporting to the Board and submission to external stakeholders. You will be required to contribute to overall financial control improvements, providing recommendations and implementing where necessary.

Your experience and our requirements

You must be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA) ideally with experience within a highly regulated industry, preferably at Group level. Equally, this is an ideal opportunity for a technically strong practice trained accountant seeking their first industry move. You will be comfortable communicating at all levels, delivering complex financial information to non-finance staff. Staff management experience is desirable but not essential as the staff are very self-sufficient and you will gain training in this area.
