Environmental Loss Adjuster - Home-Based - up to £50,000 per annum, discretionary bonus, car or car allowance plus an excellent benefits package, support towards the completion of Industry exams/Qualifications and excellent financial incentives on completion. Also offering the opportunity to progress to Senior Management level.

Trained in specialist areas of environmental and pollution issues and offering a tailored response suited to each incident and its wider impact you will be part of a Market-Leading, in-house network of Environmental Loss Adjusters, Scientists and Allied Adjusting experts setting you apart from the Industry competition.

As an experienced Environmental Adjuster, you will join a leading team of experts within this Niche yet growing Sector where you will play a vital part not only now but in the future as this sector will naturally grow and expand due to the Environmental concerns not just nationally but globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a selection of Environmental Losses from start to finish including Domestic and Commercial Losses - Environmental Liability, Public Liability, Major Loss and Recoveries
  • To manage and be responsible for all environmental losses, including the handling of complex and technical claims
  • Attend the scene of environmental incidents (residential, commercial and agricultural properties)
  • Investigate, liaise with internal colleagues, external stakeholders, policyholders, clients, brokers and suppliers
  • Provide expert advice, write complex reports, cost proposals, negotiate and settle the losses.


Experience:

  • Sound knowledge of Environmental losses as a Field Adjuster handling complex and technical claims
  • Good problem solving skills to identify failure demand and initiate resolution
  • Excellent analytical skills to quickly identify what matters to the customer to conclude claim efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information in a clear and concise way
  • Good interpersonal skills to build rapport and manage customer and client expectations
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills to settle claims fairly and promptly
  • Flexible approach - as you may be required to travel throughout the UK as and when appropriate
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ideally possess Insurance qualification (ACII or ACILA) but essential to show commitment to study and gain knowledge - study and exam support will be provided
  • Full clean driving licence essential
