KPMG Managed Services provide an innovative and cost effective solution to the delivery of large scale review and/or processing activity across multiple industries, geographies and processes. The Managed Services operation is experienced in, but not limited to, remediation, complaint handling, claims processing, service delivery and conduct risk reviews. Managed Services Revenue targets are in excess of £20M pa and UK Operations is the principal delivery arm and driver of this revenueWe bring together KPMG subject matter expertise, highly skilled operational resource and, where required, proprietary technology assets, providing clients with a single joined-up approach.Roles and ResponsibilitiesLead the Risk and Assurance team for Managed Services across the UK. Responsibility for overall risk management in the ongoing delivery of Managed Services - an area of strategic importance for the firm. Meet with clients during mobilisations and throughout the engagement lifecycle to discuss how Managed Services can be delivered within a regulatory / compliance framework. Design and maintain appropriate quality and risk control processes across both onshore and offshore operations. The Risk and Assurance manager will be responsible for developing enduring relationships with clients and other external stakeholders, as well as internal colleagues, to ensure that Managed Services adheres to regulatory and firm-wide requirements whilst delivering large scale and high-quality engagements. • Responsible for client facing risk management • Ensuring Operation Leads are supported in representing risks and compliance to clients• Deliver policies and procedures that reflect current regulatory requirements and support MS compliance with all relevant regulatory obligations including:- Effective record keeping- Adequate management information - Breach reporting - Conflict of interest management• Develop frameworks and oversee controls to prevent or manage breach of processes• Design and maintenance of the Quality framework as one of the Hallmarks of our Managed Services proposition, bespoke to each client engagement • Proactively collaborate with each engagement on quality development • Monitor internal and external regulatory developments, including evolving best practice in compliance control• Identification, assessment and management of the Regulatory and Operational Risks in MS• Ownership of a strong risk and control framework across the operational teams, reviewing the key risks regularly with the Senior Leadership Team• Consistently re-evaluate the efficiency of the Managed Services control• Assess Managed Services future plan to ensure all compliance risks are identified• Create an efficient and aligned risk approach across onshore and offshore operations• Ensure Information Security risks are effectively managed in line with client expectations and work extensively with KPMG internal Information Risks and ITS teams to apply appropriate standardsQualifications and Skills• Ability to understand and interpret client-relevant regulation / legislation and design/implement appropriate procedures to manage risk• Methodical planning abilityExperience and BackgroundEssential Experience• Extensive experience of quality and risk management controls and processes• Stakeholder management experience• Knowledge of firm-wide risk management processes and applicable regulation and legislationDesirable Experience• Cross site working on and offshore• Experience of working in an operational environment• Regulatory network
