Payment Manager (Account Receivable)Why is this role key to our business?The AR Manager is responsible for managing the reconciliation of ledger and bank transactions across £1.3b pre annuum, across 4m+ customers.Will work with analysts to assure timely and accurate posting of payments and transactional data to ledger.The AR Manager will at times be required to interface with operational, senior and Exec Board members.Produce monthly bank and ledger reconciliations to the finance teamsHow will I add value? As an AR Manager will be managing a team between 2 to 5. You will be responsible for managing the daily, weekly & monthly transaction reconciliations, including both ledger and bank by working closely both onshore and offshore teams and partners on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. The role will consist of assuring timely posting of payments and transactions to company ledger by the Finance Team. You will monitor and report on deviations from payment standards & or company policies as well getting the opportunity to make recommendations to improve quality of payments procedures.What do I need in order to be successful?Must Have:ACCA/CIMA qualified / part qualifiedStrong experience in accountancySuperior knowledge on ExcelIntermediate SQL skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationKnowledge and understanding of payment processingManagerial skills, with proven experienceHigh Level attention to detailTeam Player with strong organisational skillsBe great to also have:Knowledge Microsoft Dynamics AX applicationIntermediate or above Microsoft Office SkillsAbility to learn and challenge existing processAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.How will I be rewarded?We understand the importance of recognising and rewarding our colleagues.
