The City of Liverpool College is currently working with c1000 employers and has over 700 apprentices participating across 39 apprenticeship frameworks/ standards from intermediate up to degree level. The college is ambitious about apprenticeship growth and is seeking to set up a dynamic and talented team to help the college grow its income and employer base. Experience of working with employers within the Liverpool City Region will be an advantage.

The Role

The Deputy Manager of Apprenticeship Provision will support and deputise for the Head of Apprenticeship & Partner Provision to ensure the successful running of the apprenticeship programme, providing local operational management for training delivery and apprenticeships progress. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the development and effective implementation of the college's apprenticeship offer, support the development and implementation of quality improvement plans across the business unit and will provide operational support to cross college curriculum teams as required to ensure the effective and successful delivery and recording of the off the job training element/ qualifications where appropriate.

The College needs to have a reputation for consistently delivering and maintaining best-practice performance standards in all its teaching, learning and assessment provision, with success of students in personal, social & employability skills being its primary goal.
