A fantastic opportunity is available for a Commercial Finance Manager to join the commercial finance team.

As a Finance Manager you'll provide a high level of financial support, challenge and control for the UK teams. You'll be given full ownership and accountability in helping to drive the success of some of the world's biggest brands, as well as the opportunity to establish yourself as a true Finance Business Partner.

Key responsibilities:
  • Business partner with Commercial teams to develop and build strong relationships, ensuring that you are fully involved in their financials to drive growth and profitability.
  • Pre and post new product launch evaluation, providing deep insight and challenge to financials.
  • Proactively highlight future performance concerns and opportunities to the Commercial & Finance Leadership teams and account teams.
  • Monitor budgets and spend to ensure accurate postings. Review spend across brands to assess return on investment.
  • Prepare quarterly product/customer forecasts and annual plans.
  • Perform key tasks within the Commercial Finance team to ensure that reporting is both timely & accurate.
  • Provide management with relevant financial information as requested.
  • Complete ad-hoc financial analysis of UK management projects to ensure sound financials are behind the decision making process.
  • Work within the team to develop new tools & systems to improve the return on investment
  • Manage and develop 1 or 2 direct reports ensuring that the function receive the right level of financial input, support and challenge.

Is this you?
  • ACCA or CIMA with strong Academic background
  • Strong commercial awareness and previous experience of business partnering in a cross functional environment gained within FMCG or Retail.
  • Driven to take on additional responsibility in an organisation that provides a high level of autonomy with ambition to progress your career within commercial finance.
  • Proven track record of building relationships outside of the finance function with well-developed communication skills
  • Confident at challenging the status quo and both influencing and challenging decisions at a senior management level
  • A confident self-starter who uses their initiative and can work independently with little supervision
  • Multi-tasking - need to be organised, highly efficient and able push multiple projects forward at the same time
  • Entrepreneurial - help the commercial team develop new initiatives / spot and resolve problems
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience of scenario modelling
