Our success is due to the knowledge that we can confidently stand behind every product we offer as well as the unlimited potential for personal and professional growth that a position in Sales affords us.Your OpportunityAs a Strategic Account Manager you will directly sell enterprise software solutions across the breadth of the company's products and drive incremental license and subscription revenue to some of our largest and highest profile customers. This role develops and owns the relationship within assigned Strategic accounts to maximize Informatica's footprint. Incumbents must effectively collaborate and co-ordinate a Virtual sales including pre-sales, product specialists, professional services, up/downstream global account teams, marketing, channel management, finance and customer support as well as external parties such as Alliances and Channel Partners.Our Ideal CandidateThe spirit to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment is at your core. Strong new business sales skills through a strategic sales campaign are your strong suites.The ideal candidate will have an exemplary business track record of over achievement from selling in the global ICT sector. Able to demonstrate their track record of selling multimillion $ technology transformational programs to global organisations. It is vital that this experience has been gained selling to organisations with operations outside of the UK to include the likes of Vodafone, Liberty Global, Unilever, ....The ability to drive Sales by developing strong relationships across all levels leading to a broad account penetration within a handful of named accounts are your corner stones to success. You understand and can knowledgeably articulate to customer needs and know the importance of meticulously tracking and monitoring account activity. You consistently apply clear performance standards and handle problems decisively and objectively, while providing sound guidance and assistance to improve the systems and processes. Your keen account planning and management abilities always consider the needs of the businesses, as well as how the competition factors into that need. In addition, you have the following attributes:Authoritative business and financial acumen to translate customer requirements into meaningful business recommendations.Strong ability to lead, manage and enlist the support of a global virtual sales team.Strategic thinking around operations and positioning to develop and execute plans.Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and written/verbal skills that can influence at CxO/senior levels within accounts.Your ResponsibilitiesExpand sales within existing and/or new Strategic accounts while building relationships across all levels of decision makers.Develops and executes a strategic and comprehensive business plan for each account, including identifying core customer requirements and mapping the benefits of Informatica's solutions to customer business requirements.Accountable for accurate forecasting, regular quarterly revenue delivery, and the implementation of agreed account and business plans.Collaborates with Marketing to develop an effective plan for the accounts, to include events, seminars, and roadmap sessions.Promotes Informatica's products, maximizes brand recognition and mindshare at all levels, and publicizes success stories.Provides customer feedback to internal stakeholders for product, systems, and process improvements.At this level, incumbents will have subject matter expertise in selling the company's products and services.Assigned accounts are the largest and/or the most complex in nature, where assigned quota is typically highest among the portfolio sales role levels. (Size of quota may be relative to complexity and nature of account set.)Incumbents routinely sell-to and interact with the senior-most customer executive and CXO-level decision makers.Minimal supervision and work is driven by sales objectives. Your skills / experiencePrevious Strategic and Global accounts pedigreeExtensive industry knowledge and understanding of a customer's decision-making process, goals, strategies, and business objectives.Exhibits confidence and expertise with up to C level presentations, customer service, financial/business acumen, and negotiation skills at all levels of customer engagement.Holds a complete understanding and can articulate upon the business and technical contexts of key accounts.Authoritative leader by example on accounts and compels others to get on board.Mentors others at consultative effectiveness and establishing trust with internal and external customers.Deep functional knowledge of hybrid deployment of software solutions, Data Governance and Data Management, Big Data and/or Business Intelligence software concepts and products.BA/BS degree or equivalent educational background is preferred.Minimum 15+ years of relevant professional experience.Salary competitive#LI-DS2
