Southern Health is one of the largest Foundation Trusts in the UK, specialising in mental health, adult and child community health and learning disabilities.

We are seeking an experienced senior qualified mental health professional to join us as a team leader in Southampton central. Central Southampton is a multi cultural area and also has two large universities on its patch so it is an exciting place to work. There are also high levels of social deprivation and homelessness.

We are looking for somebody who is passionate about giving a high quality community mental health service to the population of central Southampton and who can support and inspire staff to deliver this. You should have experience of the supervision and support of staff, of involvement in service improvements and you will also need to be able to make strong links with partner agencies and local groups, from GPs to third sector agencies to local faith groups. You should also be aware of the mental health evidence based care pathways and to support and advise staff about these.
