Watts Farms Packers are recruiting a Graduate Commercial Trainee to join our Farningham based team. The primary function of this role is to competently and accurately manage the sales order processing for the business.

Reporting to the Commercial and Farm Support Manager, you will be responsible for processing sales orders, as well as the following duties and responsibilities:

·Specifically taking orders and contacting customers for orders, and communicating orders to appropriate members of staff

·The answering of telephones and the relaying of messages, including checking answer phone messages and respond to enquires

·Producing delivery notes and distributing to transport

·Liaising with Transport and customers with regards to delivery times/delays

·Performing office administration functions

·Due to the location of the role, there is no public transport in the area, therefore access to your own transport would be required

Watts Farms is a third-generation family run business which covers 9 sites in Kent, Essex and Bedfordshire spanning 750 hectares. Watts Farms Packers Ltd grows, harvests and packs fresh produce and supplies retailers and non-retail outlets. We grow a very large range of crop including kale, spinach, fresh herbs, chilies, brassicas and Chinese leaf to name just a few, and recently hit national press for being the first UK grower to produce a commercial crop of sweet potatoes.

Hours of work

You will work 5 days per week Monday - Friday from 8.00am - 5.30pm.
