Process Analyst Fixed Term Contract 12 Months. To review all current working processes, check for documented process is in place and where it is not create as is process maps and ensure they are produced and populated on the Company Management System. Client Details The UK's largest ferry operator in terms of ships and destinations served and one of the largest transport operators in Scotland. It is a multi-award winning ferry and port operation and ship management specialist providing essential lifeline services and logistical support to island and remote communities. Description Liaise extensively with all members of the Asset Management team at various levels Analysis and gathering of business process requirements Establish an overview of department processes and their interdependency Facilitate workshops with key stakeholders to map current business processes Support senior management team with continuous improvement of business processes Where necessary define functional changes to business processes and assist with designing solutions Where applicable, determine technical and business suitability of proposed requirements with relevant IT review boards, 3rd party developers and other relevant team members and provide recommendations. Define and document solutions and changes producing comprehensive documents supported by structured analysis techniques and methodologies with particular focus around ITIL best practice Validate proposed solutions with business representatives and technical team to ensure solutions and restrictions are clearly understood & meet user expectations Ensuring that budgets are adhered to and deadlines met Profile Must be capable of planning and working flexibly to a deadline On-going involvement in the implementation of new systems Drive the delivery of functionality agreed with business representatives by liaising with 3rd party suppliers, testers & the internal team Any other duties required by the Head of Asset Management Essential Criteria Experience in a Business/Process Analyst role Minimum of one qualification in a recognised Business Analysis certification Experience of business change Strong Interpersonal skills Strong Stakeholder management skills Strong verbal & written communication skills Desirable Criteria Highly developed communication skills and ability to build relationships all levels. Excellent organisational skills pertaining to workload and in response to priorities.
