What are we looking for? We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Sales Team under our Honeywell Analytics brand to be based within the South of England, or Europe. What will you be doing? The Business Development Manager will be primarily responsible to actively lead and develop Honeywell Analytics, Connected Safety Worker business portfolio to the external customers for profitable growth Grow the Territories Business in the Global Connected Worker Solutions sales and services Meet and exceed the Sales Targets agreed as part of the AOP (Annual Operating Plan) Support colleagues across all sales segments (acting as a team) to ensure out of territory sales activities take place to lead and support in the eventual regional order execution or vendor approval Report Monthly on progress to Global Connected Worker Sales Leader and the Global Director Project Pursuits & Accounts (This will be monthly report for Global Connected Worker Solutions) You will establish strong strategic partnership with End User corporate accounts at HQ level, leading to the positioning and engagement of Honeywell as first choice for Connected Worker Solution and technology platforms with additional focus on Connected Products including Personal Protective Equipment, Gas Detection (fixed/portable), Global Project Pursuits (GPP) and related valued services and subject matter expertise Engage and expand strategic partnership through leveraging of Buy Honeywell Supplier initiative, GPP and HPS pursuits with a focus to drive opportunities and improve positioning of Honeywell Connected Worker Solutions Build positive relationships with the decision makers within the key account, build and identify cross-LOB "One Honeywell" business opportunities (HIS, GP&A Project Pursuit, HPS) Meet or eclipse the Order Budget Target as defined for Global Connected Worker Solution go to market strategy Pipeline and network development Craft credibility, build strong, lasting key HSSE, Procurement and Operational relationships with targeted End User HQ leadership and earn trusted advisor status drive successful End User Corporate Account Ownership and Connected Worker partnerships. Key Responsibilities Attend (trade shows, seminars, events) Visit Customers Customer Account Managemen Search for New Customers Learn the Products You will need a minimum of a HNC, or above in Technical or Engineering, or Commercial business related field Experience in taking care of C-Suite Clients Experience of working in a safety environment, and selling into these segments within the industrial market Strong PPE safety solutions, gas and other HIS based solutions knowledge and expertise Ability to develop strategy and execute plans Solid experience in industrial safety sales including demonstrated initiation, management and maintenance of senior/mid level executive marketing relationships, strong familiarity with a variety of field product, solution and consultative/software sales concepts, practices and procedures Strong communicator, with a high level of interpersonal skills Bachelor's Degree desirable in Technical or Engineering field, or Commercial/Business is desirable Experience in using salesforce desirable Additional languages helpful, preferably: French, Spanish, German, or Portuguese desirable Established network within the industry is advantageous Working knowledge and understanding of a matrix organization We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
