General Summary:To manage the strategic roadmap, development and maintenance of the CRM (Salesforce.com) platform for Unum UK; overseeing the CRM team and platform responsibilities in-line with operational business plans and the corporate growth strategy.Drive the creation and development of Unum UK's CRM product roadmap incorporating relevant Salesforce.com innovations and working closely with key stakeholders to support business objectives.Ensure the strategy for Unum UK CRM platform (Salesforce.com) is aligned to sales and marketing plans, and developed in close collaboration with the customer solutions and marketing leadership functions.Own relationship with Salesforce.com and drive value through regular engagement with our account managers to leverage both their expertise and any system developments.Lead the Salesforce.com strategy for Unum UK, closely collaborating with Unum US and Ireland to leverage learnings, insight and global resource.Cross-function collaboration, particularly with Global Services to assist with both updates and integration to Salesforce.com and wider business applications.Own the procurement buying process for any Salesforce.com applications.Promote Salesforce.com product enhancements to help deliver an exceptional sales and client experience, and ensuring a continual drive for productivity benefits for our people.Management of CRM team and performance of all duties encompassed in the team; team consists of any of the following job roles within the current team structure: CRM Developer, CRM Administrator and CRM Support Analyst.Researches usage and application of Salesforce.com outside of Unum, including competitors, intermediaries and clients, to leverage best practice and future integration opportunities.Ensures application solution design conforms to agreed-upon quality attributes such as performance, fault tolerance, etc.Ensures the continued protection of Unum's information, by following all applicable Information Security policies and procedures and by reporting suspected weaknesses to the Information Security Officer.Understand how Conduct Risk, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) Risk Management and Solvency II systems of Governance relate to both the role and the divisional activities and highlight any opportunities for improvement.Comply with Unum's Code of Conduct and other Company Policies and Procedures as appropriate to the role and drive the behaviours of others.Behavioural Competencies:Delivers ResultsSets high goals for personal accomplishment and contribution to team/department goals; monitors progress and works diligently to meet/exceed goals.Develops Self & Others.Develops strong business partnerships as a result of credibility, comprehensive understanding of the business, and openness to diverse ideas/ experiences and strong leadership skills; viewed as a subject matter expert by others.
