The Supply Register is currently recruiting for 1:1 learning support assistant to work in the Widnes area. You will play a vital part in the progression of educational studies for young people ensuring attendance is at 100% and classwork is completed.

You must be confident in assisting a teacher in delivering a well-structured lesson. Knowledge of SEN and any specific training around teach teach, autism awareness, makaton, Pecs, LLD, PMLD, etc would be advantageous.

You will have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and will be able to plan innovative and engaging lessons that will meet the needs of children with a variety of abilities. This is a great opportunity to join the school and become part of its committed team.

To be considered for the position of you will need:
  • Have a minimum of 1 years' experience within a similar role
  • Experience with SEN
  • Excellent engagement skills
  • Experience working with pupils on the autistic spectrum or learning difficulties
  • Clear DBS on the update service
