Clinical Team Leader.
An exceptional position has arisen in one of the UK-s leading providers of low and medium secure mental health care hospitals. This particular facility provides low secure services for male and female patients and a specialist psychiatric intensive care service for adolescents. At the hospital their expert teams work in partnership with local government and charity organisations to promote local integration and enhance the opportunity for a patient's access to the community. They are a leader in providing an extensive range of psychiatric care for people with mental health conditions and learning difficulties and are committed to providing outstanding levels of service to patients and partners, that is flexible and needs led based on the individuals requirements. The successful candidate must manage the activities of the team, partnership with and support of the Manager, close involvement in efficient and effective management of the ward and nursing practice. Teach and demonstrate procedures to and supervise registered and unregistered nursing staff, using available evidence to inform and develop practice. Promote training initiatives at ward level; take a key role in the induction of all new staff, acting as a role model to team members. Coordinate the process of each patient's individual care programme through effective delivery of the CPA. To participate in Nightshift team leader rotation, to cover annual leave and sickness.
