For each other, for our customers, for society and our communities. We need you to help us do this.Why this role mattersThis is an Account Management role reporting to the Client Director- Indirect. The role holder is a strategic professional, responsible for representing the company and selling its products, services and bespoke solutions in the assigned sector and accounts. The role holder will have a technical understanding of BT Wholesale's portfolio to be able to tailor solutions to customer requirements. The role holder will keep abreast of the latest market developments and contributes to the functional strategy by applying this within the organisation. The accounts to be managed in this role are high-potential in terms of revenue and profit growth and critical to the long term Indirect strategy.
The role holder will need to apply insight and an understanding of the customer's strategy while embedding best practice account development, sales and account management disciplines, working with product / proposition teams to develop concepts that meet customer needs and expand the range of services and business that W&V wins. The role holder will require a good understanding of the Reseller Market (either from selling into, or competing against), the challenges faced, and the technology evolution required to extend Wholesale & Ventures Product and Services.What you'll be doingDelivers account CSAT plan. Win business and manage in-life:
• New opportunity pipeline. To assist in forecasting business and market needs, operating on a multi-product basis.
• Discover & discern. To understand customer requirements and offer bespoke solutions tailored to their needs.
Manage accounts:
• Account strategy. Deliver in line with account strategy and sales targets.
• Account planning and execution. Input to account plans, setting out the pipeline of sales opportunities within the account, and the plan to realise each opportunity. Apply the BT Wholesale standard approach to pipeline management.
• Customer relationship. To establish key customer relationships with the support of the customer contact strategy.
• Customer satisfaction. Deliver target CSAT for the account. Develop agreed customer service plans for the account. Review CSAT surveys and work in partnership with Products and Service to realise target CSAT. To manage Salesforce, ensuring that all contact information is current and accurate and any data issues are resolved in a timely way.
• Sales forecasting. Input to one truth volume demand and revenue forecast for the account. Agree this with the customer and Finance.Business Impact:
• Medium-term business strategy and objectives typically guide this role, although there will be involvement in the formulation and development of future policy, typically over a 12 month period.
• Impact is primarily short-term but develops plans over the medium term.
• Assesses customer relationships and service level.
• The role holder will have revenue, margin and new business objectives.
• Support the Client Director in managing the business relationship with the client and delivery of revenue, margin and new business sales objectives.Authority/Decision Making:Win business
• Maintains a strong, consistent relationship both with customer and internally following the customer contact strategy.Manage accounts
• Delivers account strategy & targets and account plan.

• Thorough understanding of the UK Telecoms Reseller and Carrier marketplace
• Graduate or relevant job experience highly desirable.
• Significant experience within the sales environment, in particular solutions sales.
• Evidence of driving up revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
• Sound technical understanding of BT's products and services
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Track record of selling solutions to Resellers and CP's
• Experience of working within and comprehensive understanding of fixed telecoms industry.Attributes
