Reporting to the Product Development and Strategy Manager the successful applicant will manage the creation, delivery, roll out and optimisation of new and existing products.

The Marketing function within ALD supports all sales & product activities that the business undertakes including the launch of new initiatives & business channels. The Team also provides analysis of marketing activities, statistics & suggests differing methods of communication in order to achieve the best customer outcomes. We strive to deliver an excellent customer experience by ensuring that the customer journey results in the customer wanting to renew on conclusion of the current contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver agreed new product and product improvements, including but not limited to:-
  • Input into detailed requirements documents for any new product or refinement / optimisation of product
  • Liaise with digital analyst to extract evidence and document recommendations for optimisation of product
  • Attend sales team meetings on a regular basis to provide updates and seek ideas for product improvements
  • Customer and market research to establish gaps in our product offering
  • Creation of Visio / Powerpoint flows where necessary to present to line manager
  • Manage work flow into Business Analysts and monitor development progress, escalating any slippage
  • Robust testing of product development, reporting findings to line manager
  • Co-ordination of User acceptance testing with departments who will sell / utilise the product
  • Make recommendations for business sign off
  • Assist as required in the launch, roll out and sales training of agreed products
  • Initial projects include but not limited to;
  • Corporate online platform
  • Digital consumer sales channels for third party partners- Banking, Manufacturer, Insurance, Dealers
  • Direct digital consumer sales channel for ALD UK and International - Qigo, ALD Direct
  • SME digital channel for both third parties and ALD - ALD B2B, Lombard B2B
  • In life site for existing consumer customers - Driversite

Specific experience and knowledge required
  • A good understanding of the different sales channels in ALD and the importance of our key third party stakeholders
  • Experience in the Corporate and SME vehicle finance market
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Market & Competitor Awareness

Required skills and attributes
  • Competent in Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and PowerPoint (Visio training to be provided if required)
  • Strong Customer focus, tenacious approach
  • A resilient, team player how can illustrate the ability to both influence and collaborate
  • Someone who displays strong interpersonal skills, including good time management and can display good decision making skill.
