C# / .NET Developer: Would you like to play a leading role in developing truly cutting-edge technology? Due to sustained commercial growth, an enthusiastic C# .NET Developer with experience of working with .NET framework 4.0 or later is required to join a leading life sciences company based just outside Bournemouth.

The ideal candidate will have WPF and design patterns experience, preferably gained in an Agile, test-driven environment. With a number of positions available, applications from Front End, Back End and Full Stack Developers of all levels of experience and seniority are encouraged. Whilst the ideal candidate will have a number of years commercial experience, applications from recent graduates with a relevant degree are welcome as a desire to build on the organisation's recent and continued success is the most important prerequisite.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to greenfield products
  • Produce clean, reusable, SOLID code by taking part in code reviews, contributing to and following code standards and peer review
  • Contribute to discussion and evaluation of new technologies, frameworks, and tools
  • Work with other members of the multi-disciplined team to define and plan the architecture of applications


Skills & Experience:

  • Experience of C# .NET in a development environment
  • Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
  • WPF experience
  • Familiar with enterprise application patterns
  • Good knowledge of .NET framework 4.0 or later
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a small multi-disciplined team
  • Experience of industrial automation, WCF or SQL Server (desirable)
