Job DescriptionPosition at Comms-careTechnical Account ManagerLocation: Northwich & within the North West of the UKSalary: Dependant on Experience + Benefits packageThe Role:We are looking for a Technical Account Manager who can provide pre-sales & technical management alongside our aligned commercial account teams within 2 named end user clients where you would be expected to retain, establish, manage and grow relationships.You would be expected to spend 1 day on site per week per end user client within the North West of England whilst the rest of the working week, you would be working either in the office, or from home and with vendors.You would hold client meetings relating to service improvements, infrastructure improvements and enhancements whilst managing the full technical sales cycle.Alongside our technical specialists, you would be expected to prepare hardware/ software quotes and work cost estimates, analyse customer's needs; suggest upgrades or infrastructure enhancements to meet requirements and advise clients on technology directions that best support their business needs.You would be expected to effectively manage multiple projects, overseeing quality control throughout the life cycle whilst working closely with the on-site representive, Technical & Engineering Teams, Managed Services, Change control and Service Delivery teams on the delivery of client projects - underpinned with the ability to provide problem management support to high profile issuesExperience:Ideally you will have experience in a similar role having worked in a Managed Service industry and can display and apply knowledge of technologies including: Cloud Solutions, Cyber Security, Microsoft, Infrastructure Networks, Server Virtualisation, Thin client technologies. You will have:-Cisco CCNP / CCDP or equivalent knowledge and able to confidently demonstrate knowledge and experience in core Cisco routers, switch, firewalls and MerakiPrevious experience of supporting, deploying and designing Cisco Security and R&S solutionsProvide technical support for the customer to support post-sales processesRemote analysis and support of customer environments inputting to changes utilising network management systems and remote access solutionsAble to translate customer business and technology requirements producing high quality network solutions through high and low levels designsAct as focal point and point of escalation for knowledge sharing between engineers, consultants and the end userAnalysis and solution specification culminating in writing and overseeing scope and design documentsActively contribute to continual service delivery improvementAddress product-related queriesAnalyse customers' needs and suggest upgrades or additional features to meet their requirementsAble to work under pressureExcellent verbal, written communication & presentation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsFlexible approach to workIdeally you will also:Be extremely well organised with good all-round communication skills and excellent written English.Have excellent knowledge of a wide range of Security/Networking hardwareHave a flexible approach to work and prepared 'go the extra mile' to exceed customer expectations with an attention to detailApplies knowledge and skills through handling complex problems beyond own area of expertiseKnowledge of best design practices across multiple vendorsThe Company:Comms-care is a leading channel-only provider of IT support and service solutions.
