Sales Assistant

Based Dunstable & Aylesbury (car driver essential)

Salary £19,000 - £21,000 dependent on experience

Bonus paid monthly, realistic 10% subject to targets being achieved

37.5 hours per week - store opening hours 8.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday (7.00pm on Thursdays)

Saturday 9.00am - 4.00pm

Sunday 10.00am - 5.00pm

Generally, work every other weekend and with 2 consecutive days off in the week.

Our client has facilities based in Dunstable, Aylesbury and Camden. We are looking for the Sales Assistant to work between Dunstable and Aylesbury, supporting in all aspects of running the facility and growing the business.

The successful candidate will be target driven with good sales and customer service experience ideally within the retail sector.

* Experience of managing customers

* A proven ability to perform in a fast-paced demanding environment with minimal supervision

* Self-driven, passionate and committed to exceed above expectations

* Excellent communication skills

* Experience in a sales and customer service role

* Ability to assist and delivery on sales and revenue targets

* Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloads

* Is target driven and always strives to succeed


* Responsible for the conversion of prospects into customers

* Actively promote the sale of add on products

* To promote the services of both the Store and the company

* To ensure that all customers (both in person, on the telephone and through e-mail) are given all the help and advice possible

* Log customer enquiries and follow up in a timely manner

* Ensure all customers visiting the Store are aware of the security procedures

* To ensure that all customers requests are handled professionally and with customer service in mind


* Excellent communication skills

* Is target driven and always strives to succeed

* Self-driven and passionate with a desire to exceed expectations

* Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced demanding environment with minimal supervision.

* Responsible for managing information, decision making, planning and prioritising to achieve business results ensuring all deadlines are met
