An apprenticeship with our client is much more than just a job. You'll be at the heart of the local community, proud to help make Rochdale a great place to live and work.

As their Apprentice Procurement Assistant, you'll get the support and mentoring that you need to build your career, develop your skills and flourish in your role. You'll have time out to study for a nationally recognised qualification, and you'll have access to their wide range of employee benefits. Our client is an accredited Real Living Wage employer, so you'll also be paid the real living wage rate (currently £9 per hour) throughout your apprenticeship!

This is a higher level Commercial Procurement and Supply Apprenticeship at Level 4 offering membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), so if you are looking to kick-start your career in procurement, then this is the role for you!

You'll become a key part of their dedicated procurement team, providing support across the full range of procurement functions, ensuring that teams across the Company receive the procurement advice and service they need, in line with our policies and procedures.

To be eligible for the qualification, you'll need a minimum of GCSE Grade C/4 in Maths and English together with a Level 3 qualification (A Level/BTEC) at Grade D/ pass or above, preferably in a business related subject. You'll have some knowledge and understanding of the key tasks of a procurement function, and experience of purchasing goods or services and working within an administrative role would be an advantage.

Whatever your background, if you're looking for an exciting and challenging apprenticeship opportunity, they'd love to hear from you!

Our client is an inclusive employer and all applications will be considered for employment regardless of background. They especially welcome applicants living in their neighbourhoods and they guarantee an interview to Rochdale borough residents who meet the specified criteria.

The closing date for applications is 5.00 pm on Friday 7 June 2019. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre on Friday 14 June 2019. Interviews will be held between 1 - 5 July 2019
