Our Environment, Maritime and Resilience business provides a focus for advising our clients on sustainability issues including renewable energy, low carbon economies, impacts of climate change and waste and resource management. Our environmental capabilities comprise of in excess of 1000 staff based predominantly in the UK, but with reach into the Middle East and in India.

To meet our growing UK business needs and future development aspirations we are looking for an experienced Project Manager. The successful individual will support a range of projects for clients in major public and private sector organisations and will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities.

You will be managing projects for local authorities, water companies and major infrastructure clients and you will also work with other disciplines within the group to deliver projects for key framework clients.
Project management on a variety of water environment and engineering programmes and projects, taking responsibility for the safe delivery of our projects to meet programme and budget requirements, whilst maintaining high quality standards.Contract administration, including invoicing, forecasting, schedule management, QA documentation.Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of your project teamPlanning and scheduling workIdentifying and managing risk and changeReporting on performanceChairing internal and client project meetingManagement and development of less experienced colleagues in the teamIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within existing contracts and support sales opportunities across the wider business. Qualifications Essential:
High quality degree relevant to the water environmentProven project management experience in environmental/water projectChartered or Incorporated through a relevant Professional InstitutionGood understanding of the technical work undertaken in the water environment sectorExperience of project managing a a variety of project types and sizes across a range of sectorsAble to operate autonomously, with authority, skilled in developing and building relationshipsExperience of working private and public sector clientsExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAble to identify client requirements and scope wider business opportunitiesAbility to use Microsoft Project to write and manage project schedulesExperience of working under a range of contract forms, in particular NECExperience of undertaking earned value analysis on projectsExperience of writing project quality and delivery plans

APM Project Management Qualification or PRINCE2 Practitioner Ability to use Primavera to write and manage project schedules Experience of leading and winning new tender opportunities
