It is important, that you have significant communications experience and responsibility for supporting and amplifying the media and policy activity, on the digital channels and working to support key marketing campaigns on social media.

You will be managing content across Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube: implementing a new social media strategy, coordinating all social media activity, and managing the creation and publication of relevant, original, high-quality content through the relevant social channels, and coordinating the company's social media activity.
With responsibility for devising and driving forward, a new social media strategy, working collaboratively with departments across the organisation to create engaging and targeted digital content for a range of external audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading the implementation of social media strategy
* Managing the creation and publication of relevant, original, high-quality content through the relevant social channels
* Working collaboratively with departments across the organisation to plan and manage proactive and engaging social media campaigns (paid and organic) and content for a range of external audiences.
* Leading the social media team to support and amplify the organisations media and policy activity, identifying opportunities to promote our key messaging on our digital channels
* Designing and managing the social media calendar and coordinate all social media activity, ensuring consistency of messaging and brand tone of voice across all content
* Developing relevant content topics to reach the company's target audience, developing and expanding community and/or influencer outreach efforts
* Line managing a small team, maintaining an out of hours rota
* Mitigating reputational risk and leading on social media crisis management
* Monitoring and evaluating social media performance to ensure the function continues to develop and improve, monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
* Becoming an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate will have:
* Solid communications experience and understanding with a natural flair for copy-writing and how to adapt content to perform best on individual channels and for different audiences.
* Experience in creating clear, compelling and successful organic and paid campaigns to drive engagement, understanding, and conversions.
