Our client, based in the thriving market town of Tiverton, are offering a salary between £25,0000 - £35,000 PA DOE in both the desired engineering sectors. This highly competitive salary will be supplemented by overtime (paid at an hourly rate) as well as an excellent benefits package including:

This fantastic opportunity will be both site and field based with time being split evenly between the two, you will be servicing blue ribbon clients and multinational organisations on behalf of a dynamic brand leader. You will be working within a team of highly skilled and knowledgeable engineers that will support you in all aspects of your role, whether you are out on the road or in the office. A supportive and effective network of colleagues will enable you to grow within your role and further your skill set. The core hours of work will be Monday-Friday working 37.5 hours a week.

Your duties will include:

* The full electrical installation of biomass boilers, control panels & heating circuits

* Office based panel design, building and testing

* Working with three phase and following wiring diagrams

* Assess and resolve electrical/mechanical breakdown issues both on site and via telephone

* As required undertake mechanical servicing and maintenance work of heating appliances

* Completion of paperwork via App based reporting system.

* Research and development

* Accurately assess parts and labour required for electrical installations, issues and servicing

* Provide technical input to quote preparation where appropriate

* Take responsibility for information regarding electrics both to company staff and Customers

* Responsibility for setting up any stock requirements

* Assistance in maintaining certificating bodies requirements

Our client is open to the background of the successful candidate and no experience within biomass boilers is required however it is essential that the candidate has an engineering background and is willing to be trained within this area. An NVQ or City and Guilds level 3 Diploma in electrical capacity or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.
