Road Crew Supervisor

Location:
Northolt, Greater London, UB5 5QQ
Salary: £13-14 per hour, DOE + Overtime
Hours: 9 hours per day, 45 hour week (with breaks)

The Role:

We are looking for Experienced Road Crew Supervisors for our White Glove logistic service, to manage our onsite projects and installations. Responsibilities include Experience in handling artwork, contemporary or antique furniture and high value decorative items, export packing, frame hanging, and utilizing our bespoke QC Program. The goal is to effectively manage a team of up to 10 onsite road crew to give our clients a single point of contact onsite.

We have lots of overtime available, overnight stays, night work and international travel.

Responsibilities:

• Be the single point of contact onsite for the client and client managers
• Manage a crew of up to 10, making sure they are working effectively to client requirements
• Onsite packing and unpacking to export standard, handling complex high value items and arranging items onsite as per the clients' instruction
• Perform Quality Control Checks and photograph and update the system
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
• Report any discrepancies, keep all paperwork up to date
• Communicate and cooperate with Client Managers and Operations
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Requirements:

• Experience in a White Glove Removal or Fine Art Shipping Company
• Team Leader experience essential
• Must be flexible and available to work sometimes long hours
• Proficiency in using technology
• Great communicator with a friendly disposition
• Honest and reliable with good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Understanding of health and safety within the workplace
• Current Driving License, HGV Preferred though training will be given
• Must have a valid passport and be available to travel on occasions
• Good communication skills, proficient English language skills
