The Durley Dean is a leading hotel in Bournemouth with 113 Bedrooms, Spa and Leisure Club, Meeting Rooms and Function and Meeting facilities.

Due to retirement we are seeking an experienced all round Financial Controller with hospitality background preferred but not essential.

Reporting to Director.

Manage day to day demands of the role.

Guidance and management of an Accounts Assistant

All aspects of financial management including forecasting, budgeting, producing P&L accounts, cash flow and the balance sheet.

Liaising closely with hotel heads of department.

Managing monthly payroll processing in line with company policy, audit all payrolls to ensure legislative and PAYE regulations compliance

Must be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines as well as be able to manage your own time effectively.

Strong analytical skills are required and the ability to be able to problem solve

Manage systems and suggests changes/upgrades as and when required

Ensuring all revenue is managed and reconciled correctly and robust system in place.

Ensuring all debtors' invoicing and chasing of payment is done and monitored periodically.

Review Guest Ledger weekly to ensure all balances are less than 7 days.

Management of Purchase Order process and responsibility for all petty cash and expenses.

Process all suppliers' payment in line with their credit terms.
