Account Manager with a track record in software sales and experience of looking after ERP software customers. The role is based near Camberley and you will probably spend 1 day a week in the office, plus 1 day per month in the office for the monthly sales meeting. At other times you will be home based and visiting customers. Base salary to £40k plus £5k car allowance and £20k commission.

As an Account Manager here you will look after a small portfolio of ERP clients, and will be expected to maintain and develop relationships with these customers, retaining their loyalty and support contracts, upselling add-ons and making them aware of what the software could do for them.

You will have a lot of autonomy and will be able to take advantage of the success of the new business team and the marketing people. You should be able to produce commercially sound proposals and quotes, keep the CRM system up to date with contacts, forecast and sales activity, and attend marketing events, trade shows and exhibitions. You need an excellent phone manner and communication skills, an interest in ERP business software, lots of initiative and self-motivation and you will be personable, persuasive and friendly.

This software consulting firm have been in business for 30 years and employ 60 people. They work with a number of ERP software solutions and are growing their mid-market solution, which currently has around 35 clients with up to 120 users.

These clients need to be account managed because the ERP cloud product has a multitude of add-on's and extra services that can benefit the clients. The more they are aware of what is available, the more they will spend and the more they will get out of their ERP solution.

The software does not have an upgrade path because as a cloud based solution it is constantly being upgraded and tweaked by the vendor. So clients can become quite complacent and never do anything with it. So there is a lot of opportunity here to sell them the benefits.

* Ideally you will live in reasonable communing distance of their office near Camberley

* You will spend 1 day in the office each week plus a monthly sales meeting there

* This is probably going to be a home based role, but you can be office based if you prefer

* Experience of mid-market ERP solutions sales and account management is essential

* Experience of SaaS / Cloud software would be an advantage

* Experience of lots of different verticals and company types is useful

* The more ERP account management experience you have, the better

* Clients all over the UK from Bolton to Bournemouth, with quite a few in London
