To induct and give initial advice and guidance to new learners enrolling on to flexible learning programmes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Representing all colleges with selected employers/employees

2. Liaison with Flexible Learning teams to collect/receive course induction packs and learning/assessment materials

3. Undertaking course inductions at venues/times specified by the inductions team

4. Ensuring that each candidate completed all the stipulated enrolment documentation to meet funding eligibility and audit compliance criteria

5. Provide candidates with initial advice and guidance about the delivery/assessment model and confirm course assessment deadlines

6. Inform candidates how to access specialist tutor support if required

7. Distribute learning and assessment materials to each candidate

8. Completion of any applicable expenses forms and prompt return to admin support team

9. Liaison with Inductions Manager to feedback any issues/queries/opportunities arising from induction sessions

10. Notifying the inductions team if there are any changes to planned induction times/dates

11. Attendance at staff development and quality review meetings

12. Any other tasks required by the colleges to meet funding, external audit or Awarding Body requirements

13. Reporting to Inductions Manager

• Candidates should have some experience of delivering training with, PTTLS or equivalent and should have a Level 3 qualification, good communication and time management skills
• Candidates should have, or be working towards relevant qualification in initial advice and guidance

If 75 eligible learners inducted an extra £1.50 per learner will be paid
