This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Training Manager to take the next step in their career. You will be taking the lead in designing and delivering my client's skills strategy - with the aim of collecting, collating, analysing and working to address their Member's current and future training needs, ensuring these align with the requirements of the wider construction industry.

Design, distribute and monitor the skills strategy
Gather and interpret insight from the Membership, ensuring alignment with the requirements of the wider construction industry and using this data to develop company and organisation focused three year training plans, which can be used to inform funding applications or to develop the Association's own training offer
Identify and alleviate risks to training initiatives, escalate issues when appropriate
Work with colleagues, including Executive Board Members, to propose and develop new training initiatives
Use data to segment the Membership in order to offer targeted training
Ensure training plans include agreed deadlines and financial targets
Work with external suppliers - to plan and deliver training activities.
Lead debriefs on any activity undertaken as part of the delivery of the Skills strategy, using feedback to evaluate and drive service improvement.
Identify and deliver training that will develop staff and ensure the organisation is safe, effective and efficient.
Ensure that all activities comply with relevant legislation.


Recognised qualifications in Training and Development Learning and/or Further and Adult Education Teachers Certificate and/or Project Management and/or Human Resources Development
Demonstrable success in designing and delivering training and development activities
Ability to develop and manage effective client and stakeholder relationships.
Demonstrable success in completing training needs analysis and in applying for and securing funding
Full, clean driving licence valid in the UK
