We currently have an opportunity for a Training Coordinator at one of our high profile clients based in Corby Northamptonshire.
Job Purpose: To manage, develop and lead the Learner Management System (LMS) for the Company, ensuring that the administration of the overall LMS operation and delivery of its objectives are achieved. Be responsible for the design and maintenance of a suite of e-learning content, support employee development initiatives through delivering induction training and hosting creative training events within the overall L&D strategy.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Provide support to new and existing employees. • Manage the administration of all LMS, course material, training records for existing and new employees.• Maintain updated database and training records all employees, including any leaver records.• Conduct organisation-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps. • Support the Mapping of annual training plans for all staff and functions. • Design and develop the e-learning channel and provide input to all training programs. • Identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps. • Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with experts regarding instructional design. • Research and recommend new training methods, like gamification. • Deliver all essential training and ad hoc delivery of ongoing development delivery. • Use known education principles and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of new training methods.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year's work experience as a Training Coordinator/Trainer. • Previous experience of instructional design theory and implementation. • Minimum of 1 year's work experience with e-learning platforms and wed delivery tools. • Experience in delivery of training. • Strong presentation skills. • Strong problem analysis and problem-solving. • Strong commercial and business focus. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy. • Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative. • Possession of a good working knowledge of IT encompassing, but not limited to Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
In general, the post holder should be of smart, presentable appearance and must feel comfortable working in a high pressure, ever-changing and customer driven environment. The post holder should be highly committed and be able to seek improvement continually. The post holder should have the ability to develop beyond this role and respond positively to growth within the Company.
