Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 17.00pm

Product Manager - About Us:

MIMEA UK Limited is an importer and distributor of Ambiance Bain luxury bathroom furniture and showering products manufactured by its parent company in France, and sold through a network of independent bathroom showrooms across the UK for the last 20 years.

We specialise in B2B2C sales. Our new Product Manager will be an integral part of the business working alongside the UK Director to define the product management & full life cycle as well as managing the marketing and communications strategy with external agency suppliers where necessary. They will be responsible for all implementation while supporting our sales teams by providing up to date market data and analysis and leading targeted marketing and promotional activities.

This is an exciting opportunity to establish and run the product management and marketing department at Mimea UK (t/a Ambiance Bain).

Product Manager - The Role:

We want you to manage our full product offering life cycle.

You will collect and manage the current sales data alongside a market study to identify existing and new product opportunities within the luxury bathroom interiors market. Creating product development briefs, you'll liaise with our French parent company's R & D team to create these product solutions throughout prototyping, development and industrialisation.

Once agreed you'll manage the development of all sales communication literature, samples and materials and assist the sales team in launching and expanding sales of all new and existing products.

Product Manager - Key Responsibilities:

Product Management & Development

- Analyse the competition, the distribution networks and the existing product portfolio

- Create and manage the yearly marketing plan, including product development, launch, promotional activities and all communications activities (e.g. catalogues, samples, PR)

- Coordinate the development of new products (briefs, prototypes, catalogues, price-lists, samples, fittings instructions) in conjunction with French parent company

- Development and implementation of promotional strategies

- Provide relevant sales data to external sales force periodically and on demand

- Provide assistance to the internal and external sales staff regarding all product related queries

Marketing & Communications via external agencies where required

- Manage all website content and updates

- Set up and manage social media presence including writing content

- Prepare and manage all mail outs (e.g. newsflash, promotions)

- Creation of regular customer newsletters

- Manage all PR activities (including creation and management of periodic relevant press releases)

- Management of any company or customer advertising and content

- Management of product photograph database

Product Manager - You:

Essential

- Degree level qualification in product, design or marketing related subject

- Minimum of 5 years' experience working within a tangible, technical product marketing position, ideally within a B2B environment

- Experience of developing, planning organising and implementing effective marketing strategies

- Project management skills

- Analytical skills

- Good understanding of latest digital marketing techniques

- Quality in presentation of all work, including design/creative flair

- Experience of brand development

- Advanced IT skills including MS Office, especially excel

- Detail orientated with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- A 'Can Do' and 'Will Do' attitude

- Able to work autonomously and self-motivated

- Professional and reliable with a passion for success

- Full driving licence and own car (any business travel will be reimbursed)

Desirable

- Understanding of the UK bathroom or home improvement/interiors market

- Knowledge and use of or willingness to learn Adobe Indesign graphic design software

- As part of a French company any French language skills would be advantageous but in no way essential
