Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a hard-working SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in Oldham?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a two-form entry Primary School in Oldham to start in September until the Summer 2020. This is a long-term role with a salary of £60 per day.

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification

• Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

• Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained

• Have the legal right to work in the UK

We are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of a friendly, popular and successful primary school. The school has experienced and enthusiastic staff who work hard to give the children the best possible education they can. About the role

This OFSTED 'Good' primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their KS1 department, supporting children with SEN's. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management and a good knowledge of the National Curriculum. You must have prior experience of supporting children with special needs and be a committed practitioner who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role.

The role itself its working each morning, 8.30am to 03.30pm. You will be supporting 2 children within Year 1 who have ASD, ensuring that they have access to the curriculum. You will be required to support the children throughout class, helping with the delivery of phonics, literacy and numeracy. Successful candidates will have strong behaviour management and a good curriculum knowledge. The school are looking for somebody who can be innovative and engaging, ensuring that the children have fun whilst making progress.
