Job Title: Finance Manager

We have a superb opportunity to work for a leading global player in the telecoms market in a pivotal role as Finance Manager. Our client has experienced very impressive growth the UK market; both organically and through acquisition. The company has built a good reputation based on its higher performing product range, a high performing sales team and considerable investment into Research & Development to keep it's products at the forefront of the industry.

Key Features of Role:

* Manage the finance operation and responsibility of a direct report.

* Produce and analyse the management accounts to minimise financial risk.

* Provide and interpret financial information for month-end, year-end closing.

* Monitor and interpret cash flows.

* Manage balance sheet reconciliation.

* Complete variance analysis and predict future trends.

* Liaise with auditors to ensure the annual audit meets accounting regulations and produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.

* Preparing board packs/reports for senior management team.

* Manage the cash/working capital planning day to day and within annual budget process.

* Monitor company's monthly AR activities.

* Monitor stock to ensure it reconciles to balance sheet on a monthly basis.

* Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.

Person Specification:

* A minimum of 5 years' experience working in financial management.

* ACCA/CIMA accountancy qualification or a degree level qualification in Accountancy and Finance.

* Excellent working knowledge of Sage Accounts (ideally Sage 200) and Excel.

* Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, under minimal supervision.

* Comfortable performing everyday transactional tasks alongside the strategic tasks that this role will dictate.

* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate financial information/data into summarised reports.

* Ability to liaise and co-work with people at all levels and support a range of stakeholders within the business.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This role would suit a hands-on Finance Manager, who is equally comfortable working within the operation as well as operating at a more strategic level. The role involves direct line management of a small Finance team; ensuring that all the accounting responsibilities for the department are completed.
