Maths Teacher needed for a temporary position to start in September (or sooner) Wolverhampton

Hays Education are working with a secondary school based outside Wolverhampton city centre who are looking to recruit a flexible and engaging Maths teacher to deliver the KS3+4 Maths curriculum. Teachers and leaders at all levels are noted to be enthusiastic and ambitious and who expect high standards from their pupils, in both their academic achievement and behaviour. Attainment in all subjects is high.

This is a temporary contact to start in September 2019 or sooner.

Your new role
In your new secondary teaching job you will be expected to plan interesting and challenging Maths lessons that will engage pupils and you will have the natural ability to deliver them with confidence and enthusiasm. You will need to be experienced teaching at least up to GCSE Maths and be familiar with the current curriculum.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is looking for the flexibility of working on a temporary basis from September.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have completed all relevant studies and have QTS/NQT or have relevant teaching experience within a classroom setting in the last five years and be up to date with recent curriculum changes.

You will be an engaging, experienced Maths teacher with enthusiasm to teach challenging courses in a creative and imaginative manner. A real understanding of the subject area and passionate commitment to students' academic progress and personal growth are desired. You will also need strong classroom management skills and the drive to achieve academic excellence whilst emphasising the school's core values.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will be paid to scale from day one of the assignment and will also be working in a successful department, therefore learning from others and developing your own skills and experience. You will have a dedicated Hays Consultant who will support you and you will also join our Hays Refer a Friend Scheme where you could be entitled to receiving £250 in high street vouchers.
