The Plant Manager is accountable for the P&L and reports to the Global Operations/ Supply Chain Director who is part of the Executive Team and reporting to the CEO of the group. All departments from the local entity report directly to the Plant Manager, except the Sales and Finance Departments which are directly reporting to the corresponding Global Function.

* Main Tasks

* The job holder is the representative and most Senior Manager from the site:

* Together with the Global Operations/Supply Chain Director he defines KPI's and develop Local Manufacturing reporting in accordance with Group guidelines

* Ensure a culture that is characterized by trust, openness, empowerment and

* Ensure alignment of the local departments with the Group Policies and procedures

* Ensure that the company meets all its regulatory & legal requirements including those relating to Health and Safety.

* Ensure that general duties and work instructions are in place and communicated to all employees involved with activities relating to product safety, legality, regulatory compliance and quality.

* Ensure that all employees are effectively employed and adequately trained to perform their responsibilities and operational tasks in an ethical and responsible manner.

* Asses permanently skills of the employees from the different areas, adequacy with the needs of the business, identify gaps and fill them.

* Full responsibility over the acquisition, maintenance and efficient utilization of the company's physical assets.

* Liaise with 3rd party local Business Partners (Customers, Suppliers, Sub contractors...).

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline

* Strong Manufacturing Knowledge (injection molding is very important)

* Ideally from the packaging industry

* Business management experience (familiarity with Commercial, Planning, Finance, HR, etc.)

* SAP-experienced

* Fluent English, other languages desirable

* Knowledge of Six Sigma (Minimum Green Belt), Lean Manufacturing and other Continuous Improvement concepts

* Familiarity with standards and quality certifications

* Good analytic skills and learning agility

* Strong oral and written communication skills
