I have an exciting Project Manager role for a major FMCG client based in Slough with travel to Paddington and occasional travel to Chicago. The client is looking for a strong PMO to work on a Project, playing a key role in the clients most complex and important programs to revise processes, accountability's, decision rights, capabilities, structures and behaviours, and ultimately reduce people-related overheads to unlock fuel for reinvestment in the business.

The role will predominately be based in Slough with occasional travel to the Paddington Office and travel maximum once a month to the US office. Flexibility around working with different time zones is a must.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Team as well as members of the Senior Leadership Team to help deliver the project over the next 12 months. This will require exceptional planning skills, ability to anticipate and overcome road-blocks, senior stakeholder management and engagement and an ability to deliver results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1 Partnering with the Project Team to fully deliver the Project

2 Leading the planning, coordination and meeting inter-dependencies for the Project, driving critical milestones in an agile and efficient way, as we role model the new simpler ways of working

3 Identifying major risks or roadblocks and facilitating their escalation and resolution or mitigating actions

4 Monitoring progress & providing updates to senior stakeholders

5 Coordinating value tracking and target metrics

6 Leading the agenda setting, decision logs and actions from weekly meetings

7 Participating in the regular cadence of Core Reinvention Office Team meetings and attending joint Program workshops

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

* Experience in Project management/ PMO roles/ Strategy execution

* Experience in P&O and/or change management disciplines preferred

* Experience working on business, process, or organisational complexity reduction projects

* Experience with risk management, initiative prioritisation, or governance structures is helpful

* Working in a high performance team environment (meaning s/he can candidly give and receive feedback)
