Our client is a long established leader in Cyber Security, data classification and secure messaging servicing blue chips, system integrators, the public sector and governments. They are recruiting for an Account Manager/Director to join their HQ team.

Working with the Channel Manager, the purpose of this role is to grow top line revenues in the UK and manage growth through robust sales management practices. This role has a direct touch with end users, supporting either a two tier or single channel model. Responsibilities will include;
  • Develop and manage relationships with end-user customers, ensuring their needs are met
  • Develop relationships with reseller partners, selling to and through them
  • Proactively seek out new business leads via customers and tech partners
  • Promptly pursue sales leads generated by internal sales & marketing activities
  • Manage internal/external resources during the sales cycle - pre-sales, tech support, partners
  • Exhibitions, conferences, seminars
  • Overseeing proposals, tenders and response to RFP's
  • Contract negation and closing deals

Interestingly, as well as servicing the UK, this role offers the opportunity to become involved in the Nordic countries.

This role will appeal to an up and coming sales professional looking to further their career. With a solid academic background and 3+ years' experience working with resellers and complementary vendors, you will enjoy working as part of a small entrepreneurial team of like-minded professionals who are not micro-managed. You might currently be working at a reseller or tech vendor and be looking to transition across.

As well as the circa £55k base, the package includes a £6.5k car allowance, a very extensive range of benefits and an OTE of £120k. It is rare not to actually achieve the OTE because targets are genuinely realistic.
