Mon-Thu - 8am-4:30pm & Fri - 8am-3:30pm

Our client is an Automotive manufacturing business and due to growth are looking for an Account Manager to join their workforce on a permanent basis. The role will be a leading figure in business development activities, with a strong client / customer management focus. Job Description

* Responsible for developing accounts, building rapport with clients

* Take ownership of the sales process: from implementation to execution and ensuring it is compliant with business processes

* Be responsible for the sales reporting and analysis of all aspects of the sales function

* Report to management with business performance

* Main point of contact between the Sales management team and the rest of the business for Business development and bid response

* Responsible for the implementation, improvement, maintenance and management of the clients internal CRM

* Managing and maintaining business forecasting process and tools

* Responsibilities will include providing reports and data to support pipeline reviews

* Will be responsible for Bid Management to ensure the client deliver tender responses on time

* Assist with developing / maintaining quotes and proposal templates with the right T&C's for Bid response

* Process - Ensure process compliance. Create and maintain documentation for core sales process

* Leadership - demonstrate ability to influence and get support from other functions such as Programme, Relationship management, Finance, Manufacturing

Essential Skills

* Excellent customer management experience

* Experience working with inside sales or equivalent

Account Manager

Desirable Skills

* Experience in Sales or internal sales within the Engineering industry

Professionally trained to a recognised sales methodology (SPIN selling, Challenger Sales, MEDDIC) would be an advantage
