Regional Facilities Manager

Mobile (Region Specific) - Covering Southwest (Gloucestershire, Bristol, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall)

35K - 40K + Company car

Job Purpose

Accountable for the overall performance of the contract region, providing leadership and management support, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, budget management, and operational performance are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide leadership and management for a defined contract region and in-house team of staff.

* Ensure business policies and processes are effectively communicated and implemented within the region.

* Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions, and that both Client and Company health and safety policy and process are effectively implemented across both in-house and subcontractor's activities.

* Drive a culture of first-class customer service across your region, and ensure effective relationships are harnessed with key Client contacts.

* Ensure optimum staffing structures operate across the region, balancing cost effectiveness with the delivery of service excellence. Ensure structures support peaks and troughs in workload, and disaster recovery.

* Ensure the region is staffed by fully capable teams, ensuring post holders are competent, and that effective succession planning arrangements are in place.

* Identify business risks and issues, adopting appropriate counter measures to minimise downtime and exposure for both the Company and Client.

* Work with other operational managers (Company and Client) to ensure the collaborative development of the business, effective teamworking, and provide support to colleagues.

* Ensure appropriate control measures are in place, such as audits and inspections, to ensure statutory, policy, and contractual commitments are met.

* Provide leadership and guidance, advice, coaching and direct support, where required to deliver best practice selection, training, assessment and recognition/reward.

* Promote and maintain the core Values of the Company.

* Deliver effective business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to management and team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, publicity, monthly and ad-hoc reporting and other publications, as appropriate.

* Own all regional financial planning and performance; including forecasting, effective management of WIP, debt, cost reduction and contract growth. Assist in the preparation of accurate budgets, annual operational and capital spend plans, ensuring targets are met and exceeded, where possible.

* Ensure that opportunities for the strategic development of the contract are developed, to deliver increased turnover and profitability through additional services and projects, and aid the contract re-tender process.

Contract Specific Responsibilities

* Ensure PPM and Reactive SLA performance is achieved through monitoring of the system, and effective resource management.

* Ownership of all project works on-site, and liaison between project teams and client stakeholders to ensure a One Team approach.

* Day-to-day management of all Integrated FM services in line with contractual SLAs and KPIs, including supervision of services delivered via the supply chain

* Drive innovation and best practice, using knowledge, industry experience and advances in technology.

* Own regional compliance for contractual commitments, E-Log maintenance, and all QHSE standards and procedures.

* Act as a point of escalation for in and out-of-hours issues and incidents across your region.

* Support the Client to maintain their business' continuity and physical security.

* Support the development of workplace standards to create an agile and engaging working environment.

* Measure and contribute to reducing overall environmental footprint by implementing energy efficiencies
